Sun, Dec. 14th, 2008, 01:10 pm Tasty Christmas
My people were nice and put up a great Christmas tree for me to investigate, and chew on. Yum! Who needs lights when you have laser eyes! *grin*

This gives me an idea on how to get more treats...
Heard it was your birthday today, I'm impressed, cats don't live to be that old... By the way, give me some more treats, and more of that Ahi Tuna!
Tue, May. 20th, 2008, 10:11 pm Futon
Being cute up on the futon. I hate it when they catch me being cute, ah, well, might as well just go with it, and show everyone how cute I am .

Well, part of my job around the house is to protect it. So, at night, I normally go up on top of bookshelves (with some help), and stand guard trying to catch errant light beams that try and come in and crawl up the walls. And then when I see them I use my bionic powers to try and stop them if I can't catch them, (about a year ago I went to the vet, they did some operating and put advanced circuitry in me, though they took something away, not a fair trade BTW). And if needed I can ramp them up to full power. Thus the house is well defended. During the day I keep vigilant watch through the various windows. The people even installed a new perch for me, higher up on one of the windows so I can get a better view. Don't get me wrong, I love to lounge and play, but I do take my work very seriously. After all, it is Simon Says. Please forgive the poor quality of these photos, my human needs to get a better camera.
Well! I have finally convinced the male to post for me. Claims he has been very busy with work and such, I think he is just being lazy, and trust me cats know lazy! Here is a pic of me checking things out, the female thinks it is artsy. Rather it is me watching out for those stray light beams, they show up in the room full of books at night, when the blinds are up. I keep trying to catch them, but so far no luck. But I keep trying, gotta be vigilant! And after some good catnip and play.
Today we were invaded by my arch enemy, the Evil Lord Vah Kuum. He searched all over the first and second floors of the house, but he never found me. I know he saw Bast fleeing but I stayed perfectly hidden! The nights are colder, so I am now sleeping on the bed, stealing body heat from the male. The female moves too much, but the male stays put, or always rolls away from me. I have him trained so well, even in his sleep he won't bother me. He even indulges my new obsession. There are these lights that I see on the wall in their room of books. He puts me on top of the low bookshelf so I can try and catch these odd light shapes. Speaking which, that is where I am off to!

Here is what an ad for me would look like:
Thu, Aug. 2nd, 2007, 11:07 pm Pics of Me
I was posing for pics tonight, after finally getting my person to get me my own account like he promised to do last week for my birthday. I sure need to get these people better trained. They keep trying to sleep in when it gets light outside and make me wait to be fed. I even hop on their bed and walk around their heads, they are quite stubborn about their sleep. I am claiming the laptop behind me, it is always on my table. I use it late at night when everyone is asleep. Though it is hard to use the touchpad with my paws, and having to try and click the buttons. But I plan to keep practicing!
Wed, Jul. 25th, 2007, 10:16 pm Finally!
Finally I have gotten the male to post for me! A very long cat tale to tell. But I will save that for another night. It's my birthday today! At least that is what my people say. They took the estimate the vet gave them and worked backwards to this date last year. Sounds good to me. I have to get them to get me a paid account here, then I shall post pictures. Probably starting this weekend. The male is busy with his new job, and we are finally settling in to this new house. There is a rabbit and some ground squirrels outside! I even have gone outside a few times, and I really am starting to like it. Though it still scares me, and I am scared of people walking around out there. The people need to stay away so I can be out and enjoying it.
Ah, my people are so well trained, especially the male. He goes into the bathroom and expects I will join him, which I do most of the time (not all the time, I don't want him to think he has trained me instead). I jump up on the side of the tub and he turns on the water for me so I can get a drink of the nice fresh water. Though I am worried, my people are talking about moving. Not sure exactly what they mean, they have quite a nice den already. I don't know what this Wiscowsin thing is. We already have cows outside, so why do we need to move somewhere with more? The cows here are big, but look tasty, just gotta get me one to find out. I am sure I can hunt and catch one without any problems. Bast and I are getting along better, but she still won't play like I want to. Ah well, maybe in time she will relax and have fun. She's such a scaredy cat!
Where are all the other cats that read this? I see one cat who posts, but everyone has gone quiet? Are there birds and squirrels somewhere I need to be chasing?
Fri, May. 11th, 2007, 10:07 pm Finally!
Finally a chance to update. My people have been seriously busy, and have not made time to do the updates I want. They really need to change their priorities. All that work and running around. Things have pretty much settled with the new cat. She does not play as much as I would like (actually not much at all). I don't think she likes my style of play, I grab her butt and try to jump on top. I don't know why, but it just seems like what I should be doing. But she sure does not like that at all! She hisses, growls, and swats, she even scratched my nose last week. She really needs to mellow out and play! Last night I tipped over the scratcher with the catnip, and spread it all over. The male cleaned it up, but the 'nip was mixed up, so I was able to get all kinds of it, it was great! And now the nice Spring weather means they have opened up the windows and the screen door. And the birds are all over the place! I gotta catch me some of them. The female still keeps trying to get me to wear a harness. I just go limp and wait til she takes it off. I got stuck in it last weekend, had it stuck in mouth, that was not fun. I bet they tighten it better next time. I have to be more creative next time so they stop making me wear it. They want to take me outside, I am fine just watching and being by the screen door. Ah well, time to go wandering, check the windows, and see what I can smell at the screen door.
Sat, Mar. 24th, 2007, 10:26 pm Invader?!?
What the heck just happened? My people left yesterday afternoon, and didn't come back until late tonight. The female carried in a bag I have never seen before. I went to sniff it and it meowed at me! There was another cat in there! She was not too happy. The female took the bag into the bedroom and I have not seen the other cat since, I expect she is hiding very far under the bed. My people have been very nice, they fed me, played with me, and have even cleaned the litter box (though this meant my nemesis Vah Khum came out and was in my litter room). I'll post more when I know if this other cat is friend or foe!
Thu, Feb. 8th, 2007, 03:55 pm Owww!!! WTF!?!
Owww! Oww!! OWWW!!! I just got back from being attacked! My people put in this plastic box, with a metal (wire) door, took me to the vet and left me there all day. And they vet did all kinds of nasty things to me! My people tricked me, they bought the plastic box last week, and put it in the sun room, put in a nice towel so I could hang out in there. All the while they were letting me get used to it, so they could attach the door last night then take me away today! I may never go in that box again on my own. First today the vet and his minions took blood, ouch. Then they inserted a microchip in me! What am I some kind of criminal that they need to track me? Ruins my plans for sneaking out and causing problems at night. And then they drugged me and knocked me out. I wake up, feeling weak, a little nauseous, and sore. They had me neutered! I guess I reached the point where I was able to start spraying; my people had been complaining about how it smelled when I used the litter box. And here I thought it was just because they were too sensitive. And to add one final insult they had my claws trimmed. Luckily those grow back. I weigh 8 pounds and 7 ounces. I plan to be a big cat when I am done growing, I'm only about 6 months old right now. Once I recover I will show them how I appreciated that little field trip! I may not be able to spray, but I'll find a way! For now I don't feel too good, so I'm going to stay under the bed for a bit.
I'll follow them, but only if I have to: The 10 kitty commandments: 1. Thou shalt not jump onto the keyboard when thy human is on the computer. 2. Thou shalt not unroll all of the toilet paper off the roll. 3. Thou shalt not project hairballs from the top of the refrigerator. 4. Thou shalt not sit in front of the television as if thou art invisible. 5. Thou shalt not jump onto thy sleeping human’s bladder at 3 A.M. 6. Thou shalt not reset thy human’s alarm clock by walking on it. 7. Thou shalt not trip thy humans, even if they are walking too slowly. 8. Thou shalt not push open the bathroom door when there are guests in thy house. 9. Thou shalt not jump on the toilet seat just as thy human is sitting down. 10. Thou shalt attempt to show remorse when being scolded.
Ah, that was fun! I just had a little post dinner snack! A fun, buzzing fly! And my well trained people even helped. I was on the couch, heard the flying buzzing and bumping into things, so I jumped to the top of the couch and "chattered" at him. But he was up on the ceiling so I couldn't get him! This is where the well trained people come in. They got various implements and finally coaxed the fly down into the lamp. Then one of them held me, and the other moved the lamp and helped wrangle the fly until I could catch and eat him! Nice and crunchy! Yum!!!

My people have this fascination with this little room thing where water sprays all over them! I just don't get it, don't they have a better way to groom like a normal cat? And the female likes to submerge herself in water, really crazy that one! And she thinks I want to be in there with her, she nuts! Tonight she tried to get me to sit on her stomach and knees, like she is some kind of island. No thanks! Though I had to stay in and watch her, just fascinates me. She gets water all over the place, and on me too! The male understands a little better. Every night he fills either the big basin with some water for me, or the small one that is higher up. He has some night ritual for getting ready for bed, now he has to take care of me while doing it. I like to make him open the bathroom door a lot so I can come and go, then I scratch and push to be let in, and claw to be let out. A lot of fun making him work!
